Episode 4

This season has it all. New characters, new plots, new locations, all deeply rooted in Acura's motorsport DNA. Chiaki faces a big challenge, finishing the race her dad Ichiro started years ago at Pikes Peak, one of the brand's most iconic racetrack.

While Season 01 visual language was inspired by manga books, with black and white drawings, we chose to go the opposite direction for Season 02 to grab people's attention. We took the energy of the series to the streets, and went bold with our new look and feel which included vibrant neon colors and a custom katakana type that we could own.

Season 2 Design Case Study

We strategically launch Chiaki's Journey II during Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, in April. This was the perfect place to have a unique experience, so we recreated Noboru's garage IRL, along with a real version of Chiaki's Integra Type S from Episode 3.

The garage, filled with Easter eggs from the episodes, drew thousands of visitors to the space, and the real Chiaki's Integra Type S actually raced in the 2023 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
